SPIRITUAL / PSYCHIC THEORIES AND PRACTICES

Angels, Spirit Guides, Shamans, Mediums, Chakras, Reiki, Crystals, Emanations, Discarnates, Vibrational Energy, Demons, Geopathic Stress, Ghosts... the list can go on and on. Theories abound on what spiritual/pyschic energy is, what causes it to fluctuate or flow, how to sense it, how to maintain it and how to modify it.

ANGEL THEORIES:
Many believe that Angels have a very real presence in the world, and that they can assist in how energy manifests in the home, and in life in general. Angels can be invoked to guard the four corners of the house, can dispel and banish negative energies and generate positive energy. Invoking Angel energy can be as simple as a prayer, or can include setting up altars, shrines, and sacred spaces within the house as well as performing house cleansings, blessings and purifications.

SPIRIT THEORIES:
"Spirits" are not necessarily the same thing as "Ghosts," although some consider ghosts to be spirit energies. Spirit energies, also called etheric energies, can be either negative or positive, and can be caused by many different things (concentrations of emotions building up over years, earth-bound spirits who have not passed on, poltergeists, astral implants, demons, etc.) and can manifest in different ways. Spiritual energy orers will generally attempt to remove negative spirits, either by banishing them or balancing them with positive energies. This can be accomplished through focused intent, creating sacred spaces, balancing the energy of the space (or person) affected, and through the use of spiritual symbolism and/or ritual for purification and cleansing.

PSYCHIC THEORIES:
Pyschic theorists tend to believe that our actions, reactions, and how we feel about our surroundings and other people can both create and be reactions to subtle energies. Places can also "soak up" the psychic energy of those who have been in the space. Emotions resonate energetically, and can attach to or build up in spaces and around people. Other sources of negative energies can include spirit entities, infrasound interference, and EMF (electro-magnetic frequencies). Depending on the energies involved, this can create either positive or negative reactions and feelings. Methods for re-balancing energies and dispelling negative energies vary from simple de-clutterings to full cleansings of spaces and people.
